air deccan is well-grounded

My cousin and her hubby left for M’bai early this morning , or so we thought.
By 5 in the morning my bro-in-law called me up and said the flight was postponed till afternoon and they were coming back to ourplace.
They came back with stories of how the Air Deccan people had only dropped the bomb about the flight at the last moment and were not volunteering any other info about what went wrong and how long it might take to fix it. And on top of it all, the AD people got all huffy when the customers began to get irritated. So the people did what the Indian junta does best- they broke the glass, they smashed a computer and pretty soon ETv news arrived on the scene to film the proceedings. Seeing them the guards, who had till then been part of the crowd, suddenly sprung to action and broke up the ruckus.
Nothing like a good rampage to kickstart the day, eh wot?
