I was looking up how to explain a couple of words to a small child and I happened to look up *inheritance*. Wouldn’t you know it, the results I got online all to do with Java and whatnot!
Says a lot for our times when a hitherto normal word has a completely different connotation and Google feels it’s important enough to be the first result that’s displayed.
What are us non-geeks to do?
