After all the kicking, screaming, banging pots&pans (all my doing), the offspring falls asleep while on his 5th timeout of the day. There has to be a non-lunatic side to parenting. I've yet to discover it though 😦
Shocks On The Way To School
I'll admit it here and possibly have it engraved on a metal plate and hang it somewhere prominently...NO ONE CAN SHOCK ME AS MUCH AS MY CHILD! While I was dropping him to school this morning he suddenly got very excited and shouted out, " LOOK! FUCKS!" I nearly had a WTF moment myself and... Continue Reading →
Raising A Misguilded Missile
I read this blog post from a blogger I follow. He's funny, his writing is very real and given that he has many more years of experience in the ephemeral field of parenting than I do; his posts make me feel more confident that all is not lost and my head may not explode...today at... But am hoping that there are other moms out there who have this reaction as well- WHAT IN THE NAME OF GERBER'S BABY FOOD WAS THAT? My child- MLM has some... Continue Reading →
Nothing Surprises Me…I’m A Mom!
Ermm...that's a contradiction actually. Nothing does surprise me because a child's mind is SO elastic that it works in ways I can't begin to imagine and wish it didn't. And yet when the unimaginable (for adults) happens it's also a surprise because the offspring chose to do (read destroy) yet another thing in his own... Continue Reading →
